The board of Finnish Optical Society has reviewed all the applicant for the best doctoral thesis awards for year 2009 and 2010. The winners were announced during the FOS annual meeting in Oulu during Optics days.
The annual meeting of Finnish Optical Society has approved the new rules for FOS. Rules are effective since 2011-05-12 as they had already been approved in the additional meeting during Physics Days in Helsinki on 2011-03-30.
